Wyeast Bavarian Lager 2206
Used by many German breweries to produce rich, full-bodied, malty beers, this strain is a good choice for bocks and doppelbocks. A thorough diacetyl rest is recommended after fermentation is complete.
Temperature Range: 46-58° F (8-14° C)
Alcohol Tolerance: approximately 9% ABV
Liquid yeast makes awesome beer! We carry W/Yeast liquid yeast in 175 ml “smack packs”. These are good for minimum 6 months to from the date of manufacturing. It is Highly Recommended to activate and allow the pack to swell prior to pitching. Failure to allow yeast to properly activate will often result in contamination.
